First attempt at using a sketch

I'd never heard of sketches until a few weeks ago when I stumbled upon someone's blog.  They seem a great way to get started with coming up with a card.

A couple of days ago I discovered the CAS(E) this Sketch! blog and I quite liked how the idea is for clean and simple designs; very good for newbies like me I think.

Anyway, I thought I'd try giving one ago, CAS(E) this Sketch #167

and this is what I did:

Not thrilled with it - the tape could have been placed on better, could have probably made each strip length more equal.

Supplies used:
Stampin' Up Crumb Cake Note Card
Washi tape from Officeworks
Stampin' Up Watermelon Wonder ink
Sentiment - from a Stampin' Up Card Kit.
